My ac compressor stopped working a couple of months ago. As a result a tech installed a hard start kit. Now two months later my hard start kit blew up. The original ac capacitor looks fine. Do you know why my ac hard start kit blew up?

you need to have a potential relay and start capacitor installed in place of the hard start kit, they work a whole lot better. Hope your compressor makes it through and good luck with your a/c.
