What kind of vegies, herbs, spices or fruit plants can I plant in my garden and still are not hard to grow?

I a garden bed and I would Vegi plants, herbs, spices, or fruit, but I want to know what are some easy to grow and maintain healthy until harvest? When you put a plant too, please tell me if you plant the seeds of this plant by plants or if I can first! I live in Pa if that helps the atmosphere. Thank you!
